How do Aria skills work in Wix Studio Two?

Skills are saved instructions you run in Aria with a slash. You give each one a name, a slug, when to use it and the instructions. For agencies the catch is that skills are account-level, so they show on every site and for every collaborator in the account.

Key points

  • Open skills in Aria with / or + then Skills.
  • Skills are account-level, and shared skills arrive switched off with no notification.
  • Only one skill can be used per request, so merge instructions into one skill.

Skills are saved instructions you can run in Aria, the AI assistant in Wix Studio Two. You give a skill a name, a slug, a note on when to use it and the instructions, then call it with /slug in the chat. Aria can also apply an active skill on its own when it's relevant. The catch for agencies is that skills are account-level, so they show on every site and for every collaborator in the account.

How do you create a skill?

  1. Open Aria from the avatar at the bottom left.
  2. Type / or click + then Skills.
  3. Click New Skill and fill in Skill name, Slug, When to use and Instructions.
  4. Click Create Skill.

What do agencies need to know?

  • Skills are shared at account level. A skill shows across every site and collaborator in that account, so keep client-specific instructions out of shared skills.
  • Shared skills arrive switched off, with no notification. Once you enable one, its updates reach you automatically. To change it, duplicate it first.
  • One skill per request. To combine instructions, merge them into one skill.
  • Built by Wix skills in the Skills Library, such as /checkconversionreadiness and /findmissinglinks, are read-only. Duplicate one to make your own version.
  • Skills can be switched off without being deleted.

Separately, Wix's article on teaching Aria about your agency covers an Agency AI Knowledge tab in the Wix Studio workspace. You add documents about how your agency works. Wix says it's shared with your team and doesn't affect client sites.
