What each Wix platform can do

All four run on Wix, so the shop, bookings and CMS work the same. The difference is how much control you get over the front end.

Wix hasn't published what's in Wix Studio 2 or when it's out, so the calculator prices it like Wix Studio for now. What we know about Wix Studio 2. Thinking about going headless? Here's how Wix Headless works.

How the price adds up

What drives the cost

Wix Classic sites start from £2,000 + VAT, Wix Studio from £2,500 + VAT and Wix Headless from £5,000 + VAT.

  1. The platform

Wix Classic and Wix Studio are built in an editor. A headless site is written in code, page by page, so it takes longer.

  2. The pages

Every page gets designed for desktop, tablet and phone. A blog or shop template counts once, however many posts or products sit on it.

  3. The features

A shop, bookings or a members area each need setting up, testing and showing to your team.

  4. The words

Send us your own copy and it costs nothing extra. If we write it, each page costs half as much again.

  5. The SEO

Every site gets the SEO basics. Advanced SEO adds keyword research and a plan for each page, at half the page price again.

  6. Size and languages

More people signing off and more languages mean more rounds of work, so the price goes up with them.

Website cost questions

Can't see your question? Ask us. We reply within one working day.

  • How much does a Wix website cost?

Wix Classic sites start from £2,000 + VAT, Wix Studio sites from £2,500 + VAT and Wix Headless sites from £5,000 + VAT. The final price depends on page count, features, copywriting and SEO. We send a fixed-price proposal after a free call. No hourly rates, no surprise invoices.

  • Is the calculator a quote?

No. It's a guide to help you plan and set a budget. Once we've talked through what the site needs, we send you a fixed price. Book a free call.

  • Should I pick Wix Classic, Wix Studio or headless?

If you want to edit pages yourself in a visual editor, go with Wix Studio, or Wix Classic for a smaller site. Headless suits businesses that need a fully custom front end and have a developer on hand for layout changes. Not sure? That's what the free call is for.

  • When is Wix Studio 2 coming out?

Wix hasn't given a release date yet. We build on Wix Studio today and set sites up so the move to Studio 2 is a small step when it opens. More on Wix Studio 2.

  • Why does a headless site cost more?

Because every page, template and SEO tag is written in code instead of built in an editor. You get no limits on design or speed, and you still manage your content, shop and bookings in the Wix dashboard. How Wix Headless works.
